Ellowes Hall Sixth Form is a closely knit community - we love to stay in touch with our past students.
Our students go on to do amazing things. Here is a selection of some recent students of Ellowes Hall Sixth Form.
At Ellowes Hall I student A Levels in RE, English, History and Biology. I graduated with a First in 2011 in Classics and Theology from the University of Birmingham. During my degree I helped run the University's Inter-faith Assocation, and my travels included a trip to Rome. The highlight of my degree was specialising in Ancient Languages, which inspired further research.
I then went on to do an MA in Electronic Editing this year. I'm now researching a Ph.D in the field of New Testament Textual Criticism, based in the Department of Theology here at Birmingham.
I studied Graphic Design, Music and Photography at A Level at Ellowes Hall. I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Wolverhampton with a BA(Hons) Tourism Management. I went on to win the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) Student of the Year prize and travelled to London to collect my award from the House of Commons. I also won the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust Prize for the Tourism Student with the Highest Academic Achievement. I have just completed a PGCSE in Post Compulsory Education at the University of Wolverhampton and am now teaching Travel and Tourism and Business at Shirelands Collegiate Academy in the Sixth Form.
I studied History and BTEC PE at Ellowes Hall. I graduated with a 2:2 from the University of Wolverhampton in BA(Hons) History. I progressed to complete a PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Wolverhampton. The degree covered a range of topics which was supported by many resources. I thoroughly enjoyed researching and working with the History Department staff for my dissertation on British and American Airbourne Divisions during D-Day.
I start teaching full time in September in Year 4 at Wednesbury Oak Primary School in Tipton.
