Subjects and Courses
There's more to Ellowes Hall Sixth Form than just lessons...
We take great pride in providing a wide range of enrichment activities which run alongside the A Level and BTEC courses that we offer. These can be accessed at different times throughout the year and all run with great success.
Every Wednesday afternoon is Sixth Form enrichment, which is traditionally based around Physical Education and Sport, although in this time students can arrange work experience linked to their career pathway or mentor lower school students. They can also attend the Level One and Two Sailing Qualifications at our local Sailing Club. In addition, we offer the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and the Level Two Fitness Instructing courses, both of which provide employment opportunities at our Sports Centre.
Further to this, we have annual Sixth Form trips abroad which have so far been to Paris and Belgium and have proved a great success. This is another exciting opportunity where students can embark upon typical European life and explore the culture of some amazing cities as well as developing a little independence along the way.
